Melaka One Day Trip : Food Hunting Day

I can't even remember when was my last visit to Melaka.

If i'm not mistaken, it was like when i was still in my elementary school? or not?

Really super long ago that i can't even recall any date. D:

We started our food hunting from 3pm++ until 11pm++,

but reached home at 1am =..=

我果然是吃货。

(learnt from my Chinese friend via her weibo XD)

I need more hair volume!

I have so many head/hairband but i seldom really wear them out except for photographing purpose

Because my hair is thin, and then i always get headache cause it's like directly press on my head.

Or is it because my head is too big?

While nomming bread from RT Pastry bought the day before,

vainpot much :/

Did not put on any eyeMU, not even mascara and my eyelashes looked so petty

because they mmg not much volume one T_T

12th Day of CNY 2012 : SWISS Gathering!

It has been a long time since the 5 of us really gather together.

Because Soo was always in Indo,

so its either 2 or 3 or 4 of us gather together

T_T

The day started with Jia,Soo,Peng came to my house to bainian because Yin went to class in the morning.

Then we chatted and nom-ed CNY cookies & snacks until 12pm+

Then we went to Neway at Centro Klang for K session from 1pm-7pm ;p

It was RM14 including meal and drink/ person.

Fish Fillet Japanese curry rice.

the rice super hard =..=

but atleast the fishfillet still edible,

just the japanese curry.... doesnt taste like its name also.

Most of the time play with ma phone because there's so limited songs i can sing.

I don't really listen to Chinese or English songs,

but mostly Japanese and Korean songs.

But Japanese and Korean songs aren't that updated,

and some of them are too fast for me to read =..=

Actually i'm not that music person,

usually listen to music when im bored nia. ;p

Happy Chinese New Year 2012!

It was a long awaiting holiday because there wasn't any midsem break for this semester =..=

And even until the last week of semester, week 14,

there's still tests going on,

the hell with the coursework

Personally,

i think CNY is getting boring every year.

Maybe because i'm getting old?

Other than holiday, getting angpaos, wearing new clothes,

i wasn't really excited about anything else.

Le sigh.

1st Day of CNY:

Maternal sides of relatives came visit and have lunch together.

Went to SP for a short shopping with siblings in the evening.

Went to maternal grandaunt's house for house visiting after dinner time.

CNY DIY Nails : Floral Stripes Pedicure & Floral Lace Manicure

Floral Stripes Pedicure

1. Apply Base Coat

2. Apply Semi-dark pink on 1st,2nd and last.

I'm using Tony Moly Strawberry Milk.

3. Apply Nude Pink on 3rd and 4th.

I'm using OPI Isn't it romantic.

4. Using a MU Sponge, dap the semi-dark pink color half slanted on the 3rd and 4th.

5. Apply white stripes on the semi-dark pink area.

6. Draw flowers only on the 1st toe.

You can easily draw the flowers by dotting a lighter pink (must be different from background color) and then use a toothpick and darker pink to draw on the lighter pink dot.

Don't have to be perfectly look like a flower, as long as u draw them distinguishable.

7. Place a pearl on the middle of the 3th and 4th slanted point.

Then place silver micrometalballs beside the pearls.

8. Apply top coat.

Floral Lace Manicure

1. Apply base coat.

2. Apply nude pink on all fingernails.

3. Apply semi-dark pink slantedly using the MU sponge on all fingernails.

4. Prepare a brush and solid white nail polish.

5. Draw big stripes on the finger nails covering the semi-dark and nude pink in the middle.

6. Draw side lace fringe using toothpick.

Don't have to be perfectly flawless.

7. Draw flowers on the white big stripes.

8. Draw the leaves.

9. Apply top coat on all of them.

10. Stick on the acrylic ribbon only on the middle fingernail, and also a nail stone middle on the ribbon.

Draw the flowers on the acrylic ribbon too.

11. Stick the pearl and micro metalballs alternately on the thumbnail, covering the lace fringe.

12. Apply top coat to secure the decos.

Pink desserts Nail Art

Almost similar to previous post,

but i decided to make a not so complicated one before CNY,

because i wanted those with acrylic powder for CNY nails,

but i don't know why i just kept making those with nail art deco.

Sigh.

1. Apply base coat.

2. Apply semi-dark pink on all nails.

3. Apply pink cracks nail polish

4. Apply FIMO deco on only ring and thumb.

5. For thumb use nail stone so that it looks cuter XD

6. Apply nail stone on the other nail.

7. Apply top coat and tada!!

Sweet Desserts Nail Art

1. Apply base coat.

2. Apply semi-dark pink on thumb,middle and ring.

3. Use a MU sponge and dip a lighter pink on it.

4. Press on the semi-dark nail polish to get above effect.

5. Apply all the nail art deco that you like.

6. Apply pearl white nail polish on index and pinkie.

7. Use the MU sponge again to drip white nail polish and press on the pearl white nail.

8. Put all the nail deco that u like and apply top coat!

Easy, just need lots of cute nail art deco!

You can get almost everything you need for nail art manicure from there.

Basically, you just order whatever u want, and she will get back to u within 24hours,

Acrylic powder and liquid,

crystal cup for acrylic liquid,

empty containers for nail stone,

french tip stickers,

nail stones,

3d molds,

FIMO etc.

Super cute FIMO for only rm1.1 each.

The acrylic powder for like RM21?

Acrylic liquid and the crystal cup.

You will also need the acrylic brushes and brush cleaner liquid,

but i bought them already.

Replace some of the nail stones to those empty containers.

the 3d molds but there are two that is OOS,

so i changed other stuff and also add other nail stones to be sent to me later on.

Free gift!

Wine Red & Black Tiedye Nail Art

Due to the previous post,

i ended up making following nail art.

Hahaha.

(I reused some of the pictures from previous post)

1. Apply base coat on every finger.

2. Tie dye all finger except thumb using one drop of topcoat, 1 drop of black, 2 drop of winered.

3. Mix them well to get above result.

4. Place the nail stone on only the index and pinkie.

5. Apply winered nail polish on

6. Apply a thick stripe of black nail polish on the middle of the thumb.

7. Apply a square nail deco and turn it to become like a diamond shape,

then apply a nail stone on top of it.

8. Apply top coat and you're done!

It's really easy and hope u like this tutorial!

Uncoordinated Nail Art

This nail art is named so because i feel that it really isn't that coordinated in the sense of color combination,

and also design combination =_=

what's more that it ended up clumpy because of my impatience.

But i really dowan it to be gone to waste,

so here it is :/

1. Apply base coat

2. Apply white nail polish only on thumb, middle and ring finger.

3. Tiedye index and pinkie by using 2 drops of wine red, 1 drop of black and 1 drop of topcoat.

4. Mix them using toothpick and u will get something like this.

5. Continue by applying blue color slanted on top of the white nail polish.

6. Proceed by applying starting from opposite way, any colors that u like.

7. Just kept applying til you put all the colors u like, by repeating step 5 and 6.

8. Apply the nail stones on the wine red tiedye finger.

9. Apply top coat and you're done!

Personally i think the design will be nice if u apply it carefully with suitable colors.

I think i will try it again next time!

Handmade Bookmark

Chinese New Year is around the corner therefore i am writing CNY cards to my Korean friends,

since 설날 is also the same day as CNY,

and my friend is going to Korea again during the CNY,

im going to ask him to pass them to my friends XD

So i am also making some bookmark for some of them,

because i really appreciate their hospitality during my stay in Korea.

I wasn't able to do for each and every considering whether they will really use it,

or will it be a burden to them.

hahahaha.

I am not good in doing handmade stuff,

i guess its just the talent problem,

but i really enjoy making them. ;p

So, this is the first time i'm making them!

Outing to Kayelle

Wasn't planning to go out the whole day because i have ES labquiz the next day,

yet the plan always phail me. Heh. =_=

So, the day started by my brother dropping me off to my friend's house at Sri Petaling,

so that we can go have lunch at nearby her house.

We had yummy dimsum and no photos for that T_T

All the photos taken with them was with my friend's slr.

After the yummy dimsum,

we had desserts at Kuchai Lama.

Doesnt really like that place,

because its like what also don't have =..=

But still need to take photos right XD

After that, we rushed to the Auto Bavaria Showroom to see my brother's dreamcar

There've been some time since i visit Pavilion.

but too bad i dont have extra money lol

Then we went to Daiso to loot lots of stuffs.

There's still many stuff that i can buy from Daiso,

i think i can spend like whole day there.

Then basically we just windowshopping here and there since i've already bought like super a lot CNY clothes online, hence i don't have to buy anymore hahahaaha.

We also went to outdoor to take photos with those bears,

what's that called again?

I was being so prejudice hahaha,

I've only taken picture with the Japan and Korea's XD

Atfirst we wanted to go for dinner,

but my parents got some sort of ticket to watch some sort of movie(?) with Jay Chou.

I was like omg so lucky?

But then i wasnt fans of JC,

so yea...

We waited for parents to arrive with sister, so that sister can hang out with us.

We planned to take advanced CNY reunion dinner at Crystal Jade,

but too bad the set that we wanted have to be reserved earlier.

So we ended up at Tokyo Street to look for food.

Wanted to go to Hokkaido Ramen but super a lot people and parents were rushing for time,

so we ended up in Cafe Takahashi.

The food was just okay-okay only, and price also okay-okay.

We doesn't really care anymore thou. XD

After that, just lepak around and back home =3=.

Kao Liese Bubble Hair Dye - Chestnut Brown

This is my 2nd time dying my hair color with bubble hair dye.

I think its really convenient since the process of coloring your hair at hair saloon takes you forever.

Also, the price is like super a lot cheaper, and u can easily just choose other colors if you did not like the one you chose. ;p

You can refer to my 1st time bubble hair dye,

by using Etude House's Wine Red.

This time i'm using Kao Liese Bubble Hair Dye and the color is Chestnut Brown.

I actually wanted to try the Sweet Pink or Ash Brown but then i'm afraid it wouldnt look nice on me,

so i took Chestnut Brown since its the safest color. XD

Personally, i think both Etude House and Kao Liese has Hair Dye has their own pros and cons.

Price : EH RM21, KL RM34.x

Foam: EH is quite runny, KL is quite steady

Messiness: EH caused me a lot of mess but i wonder maybe its the 1st time i'm using it, so... yea.

Stuff: EH provides some sort of plastic cape,

unlike KL which does not provide it.

Smell: EH doesnt smell that much when coloring, and also the hair treatment smells nice,

KL almost choked me die by its smell and i have to kept gasping for air, and its hair lotion doesnt smell that nice. :/

Given the almost same color, i will most probably choose EH instead of KL.

But KL has a lot of colors to choose from.

=.= le sigh.

My hair before bubble hair dying.

The last time i dyed my hair was in May 2011 using the Etude House Bubble Hair Dye Wine Red.

Basically everything is shown so its easy to use.

Ingredients and stuffs.

The manual, sensitive test, hair coloring stuffs, hair lotion after hairdry

(Etudehouse's was hair treatment after shampoo'ing, to be rinsed off)

I did not use this coz i tried hairdye before,

so i assumed i'm not sensitive to those ingredients hahas.

Cause have to wait 2 days so im lazy =..=

Just pour the 1st solution (smaller bottle) to the 2nd solution(bigger bottle)

Lightly revert it 180degree back and forth(do it slowly)

Do not change to the pink pump cap first.

Wear your gloves.

I recommend just wear one glove first to use another hand to pump,

then after the hair has enough foam,

wear another gloves to massage the foam into the hair roots.

The foam looks like this XD

I like Kao Liese because it wasnt runny and i can do alot things while waiting for the 30mins.

When i was using Etude House's i basically have to wait inside the toilet =..=

It wasnt any big difference, since my hair color was almost the same.

So this is how it looks like from the back.

Colorful Sparkling Black Nail Art

Actually wanted to wait til every coursework-related stuffs to be over,

only i will do the CNY nail art.

But it has been more than one month that i did not do any nail art,

and i just can't cure the addictive-ness

T_T

Hence, this simple yet chio nail art XD

1. Apply base coat!

2. Apply black color nail polish.

I'm using Etude House's.

3. Take any 7colors of flat sparkles that you have!

4. Start by applying 3 colors on the middle,

and proceed by placing them by the sides!

5. Apply top coat!

Easy isn't it?

I feel stupid for even posting this tutorial because it's like so short!

HAHAHAHAHA =3=

Hopefully i can do my CNY nail art after finish my TES Midterm next friday

FYP has been killing me and so i din get to celebrate the Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year Eve.

Just when i thought i would be ending up celebrating New Year at home doing FYP again,

my brother told me that he reserved seats for Spanish food at Kayelle.

People recognize El Cerdo as a restaurant which sells oink oink, that is pork.

It is quite famous and i think i saw few blogposts about El Cerdo just this month!

So there's this tradition of the Spanish,

where they will use the plate to knock the side of the board 3 times before cutting the piglet,

and then the bad luck from that table will be transferred to the plate.

(Can't remember that detail)

and it is said that the piglet is cooked in which the skin is so crispy that even a plate can use to cut it XD

Then to finish the tradition,

You will have to choose either Love or Money

and throw the plate to break it,

so that your wish will come true,

and the bad luck that is collected will go away.

My simple comparison between Iphone and Android.

Disclaimer:

I am no professional so please correct me if i may stated some wrongly.

I'm willing to know more about both OS so please share your knowledge with me if you don't mind.

Recently, i just bought an ip4s eventhough i actually wanted a sgs2.

Well, i was sort of influenced by my ifag siblings lol.

And its not that ip4s are that inferior compared to sgs2,

just that i was using htc desire and was more familiar to android,

and i've always been skeptical about ios's flexibility and all those sync here and there stuff.

Although people always say iOS is user-friendly,

but for some reason i think that Android is even more user-friendly because it has more optional actions compared to iOS's restricting limitations.

My basic requirement of a phone basically just have to have social networking apps like facebook, twitter, weibo and stuff.

Some chatting programs like whatsapp, line, kakaotalk and etc.

Entertainment like manga-reading and games.

and then a good phone camera and photography apps.

Typical girl's need. haha.

For SNS, both phones offer almost the same stuff.

Chatting apps and manga is also the same.

While about the front camera, ip4s is only VGA while sgs2 is 2mp.

Both the rear cameras are 8mp.

So for someone that like to ss like me,

i think i would like to have a clearer front camera like sgs2's T_T

Also, i do need flash for like poupee girl when i am lazy to use my computer.

However iOS doesnt have flash.

Also, the screen,

i do like big screen phone so that it can enhance my video-viewing and manga-reading experience.

But i think ip4s's screen is big enough. (?)

The thing that i still can't get used to after using ip4s for 6days ,

is everything also need to be sync.

I usually simply transfer anything i like from my android using bluetooth,

or even using usb cable is fast enough unlike ip4s have to sync everything.

Bluetooth for ip4s is basically useless as it can only connect to other iOS stuff (that's what i heard)

Also,

there's this ringtone issue.

The other day i was trying to create ringtone and find that it wasnt as easy as in android.

When using android, i simply use the apps "Ringdroid" to create and i can straightaway use it as any ringtones.

While using ip4s, eventhough i tried the apps "Mobile17" and it created the file but i cant use it straightaway as i need to sync it via itunes to my phone again only i can use it.

So it's quite inconvenient.

Eventhough i'm not to say a fan of apple products,

but i do have to agree that iphones do have better and more sensitive screen compared to android phone.

I tried SGS2 at the samsung shop and eventhough its responsive,

still i think iphone is better.

Also, my htc desire was sort of unusable anymore because of the screen problem.

About Siri,
its basically useless to ask some question regarding location,
because it can only answer for if you are looking for US's.
Well, still i think it can be entertaining when you ask ridiculous question.
Perfect for me #ForeverAlone T_T

I guess the reasons i buy ip4s are because of

- Siblings influences

- Wanted to try different phone

- Heard that they have many apps (still thinking whether to jb anot)

- Responsive touch

- Bias of cute mobile accessories on apple products

- i really like the design of ip4/4s

Eventhough its not technically helpful,

I really have this strong urge to take up language major.

But i also wanted to finish my current studies.

I think i'm so not suitable to work,

because i can't handle stress wisely.

I will most probably throw a tantrum to my clients if i am going to be a consultant,

i don't have the leadership skill to make people listen to me if i am going to be a team leader, project manager etc.

I hope can find something that i really like to do.

Silver-lined Baby Pink & White Nail Art

This nail art is inspired by Hwannie's Pucci Nails.

1. Apply base coat.

2. *optional* Apply any nude color or sheer pink as background color.

3. Apply white nail polish french tip.

I did it for half because my nails are too short =3=

Ignore the flaws at the line because we are going to cover it later.

4. Choose any color of your preference and color any way you like.

I chose a light pink so that it can make the stripes i used later more "pop out".

5. Line the colors using silver or gold nail pen or brush.

6. Apply top coat and here you go,

Dollywink Color Combi Inspired Milky Pink with Black Stripes

And so,

i get bored of my nails again.

Actually i did a french manicure but it was ruined by some stuff AGAIN.

I thought i am going to just apply some nail color,

but whole day without internet is killing me,

so i watched DC drama while doing nail.

I called it dollywink color combi inspired because the color i chose was inspired by dollywink's color combination.

Milky pink with black looked so punkish yet so sweet.

Anyway,

since i ruined the right hand side ones,

i removed all of them and trimmed my nails.

Then, i applied moisture essence since it looked so dry.

I decided to let them have a rest until i finish my labquiz

._.

1. Apply base coat.

2. Apply Milky Pink color of your choice for every fingernails.

I'm using Tony Moly's Strawberry Milk here.

3. Draw the tip using a black nail polish like above picture.

Tips: You can dot at the middle and join them from the sides to make sure it's balanced as shown by the middle finger.

4. Fill in the tip using the black nail polish as shown in index finger.

5. Draw a straight black stripes right a the middle, then add another 2 lines right beside it.

6. Repeat it for every fingernails except the thumb.

(Pardon the messy drawing because this was the right hand, i'm right-handed)

7. Use a silver nail polish to dot at the center of the the nail as shown in the picture for the 4 fingers mentioned in #6.

8. For the thumb design, use the silver nail polish to place dots at beside the tip lining.

Draw a love or anything u want or even place a rhinestones at the middle of your thumb.

9. Apply top coat and you're done!

Sinfully Sweet Pedicure + Sweet Pink Konad Manicure

Actually, i was supposingly being busy with my schedule of FYP, quizzes, midterms and assignments.

However, being the typical me,

slacking in the midst of busyness is nothing special anymore.

Heh =_=

I decided to decorate my toes instead of my fingernails because i find it unfair for kept doing manicure.

LOL.

Nonsense =_=

I shall start with Sinfully Sweet Pedicure.

1. Apply base coat

2. Apply pink color of your choice.

Preferably the one can match with the decorative item the most in terms of sweetness.

I am using OPI Mini Sparrow Me the Drama here.

3. Start placing 2 or 3 pearls(random color) at any place you like.

I started with the right corner.

4. Place icecream FIMO at the upper side of the pearls.

5. Repeat step 3.

6. Place swissroll FIMO at the other side of it.

Remember don't place it in order else it will look unnatural.

7. Repeat step 3 again.

8. Place cupcake FIMO on top of the pearls.

9. Place 2 pink pearls(nearest color to the background pink) at any place u like.

10. Decorate the remaining toenails with 3 white dots at the sides.

11. Repeat for the other leg.

12. Apply top coat and you're done!

Actually i sort of messed up this Sweet Pink Konad Manicure.

But then i guess nevermind,

since i will do it again sooner or later.

1. Apply base coat.

2. Choose 5 different colors of pink and arrange them from the lightest shade to the darkest shade.

I purposely chose all of them in the light tone.

You might start with the pinkie as the lightest or thumb as the lightest.

It's up to your choice.

3. *Optional* Apply Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat if you can't wait.

Else you don't have to apply top coat, but have to make sure the nail polish has completely dried up before starting the next step.

4. Use White Special Nail Polish as the decorative paint.

You may refer to Konad Review for the proper steps.

5. I'm using M80 plate here for the index, middle and pinkie french tip.

6. M57 Lace for the ring finger.

Refer to the end product to have a clearer view of which lace i used.

7. S10 bunny is used for the thumb design.

I also added polka dots to make it a more complicated design.

8. Apply top coat and you're done!

Konad Stamping Nail Art Tutorial

Personally, i think Konad Stamping Nail Art is very convenient for people who wanted to decorate their nail nicely without having to visit the nail salon.

You may get frustrated in the beginning because you couldn't make it perfectly but it's easy to use after few practices.

There are also other brand of stamping nail art that i've came across but i just couldn't remember their names.

You can watch this video for better understanding about Konad Stamping Nail Art.

You can also refer here for the tutorial.

1. Apply base coat.

2. Prepare special nail polish of your choice and also place the ip on the ip holder.

I placed the tissue paper beside the ip so that when i scrap it, it won't make the ip holder dirty,

and i can avoid a lot more mess of cleaning it.

You can clean the special nail polish stain with the nail polish remover.

Also, please keep in mind that normal nail polish is hard to work on the ip because it wasn't designated to use with the ip.

Only special nail polish can make perfect stamping because it dries faster compared to normal nail polish.

3. Apply the special nail polish onto the design you like.

You may color only part of it or use multiple color on one pattern to achieve your own unique design.

4. Scrap the special nail polish at 45degree right after you color the pattern.

Everything have to be done quickly because the special nail polish dries fast.

Ignore any stain that is on the ip because the stamper wont get the stain, but only the design you made.

5. Stamp the pattern you've made by rotating it onto the stamper.

See how the stain wont get onto the stamp?

You can also use any cotton bud to remove unwanted design on the stamper to create your own design.

However, please remember everything have to be done fast to avoid the special nail polish dries off.

I made it into a love shape but actually i wont stamp it onto my nail. Hahahaha

I just wanted to show you guys how it can really make into different design.

6. Stamp the design onto your nail.

It can get dirty on your finger but fret not,

because you can easily clean them using cotton bud dipped with nail polish remover.

To make things easier,

you can also use Konad's Corrector Pen.

7. Finally, apply the top coat.

It's not necessary to only use Konad's top coat.

You can use other other brand such as OPI, Seche Vite or other.

Girly Pink Nail Art

It feels so weird to leave my nails naked.

I guess i really get addicted to manicure,

until my mom kept saying are you planning to become a manicurist?

=_=

So as usual,

i searched through my collection of nail art references to see if there's any nail art that i wanted to do,

and i found this.

So i decided to make an inspired version since i don't have the acrylic tools and powder to make the above design.

1. Apply base coat.

2. Apply any nude or sheer nude color as base on all finger nails.

3. Draw a line at the middle of the nail using semi-pink color.

I'm using Tony Moly Strawberry Milk here.

(Do it for only index,ring and pinkie finger)

4. After drawing the line, it will act as a guideline for your to paint the middle top tip.

5. Do the same thing for the thumb and also middle finger by using another solid peach nude color.

I'm using The Face Shop nail polish here.

6. And paint them just like what you did at #4.

7. By using a dark pink flat sparkles, cover the semi-pink colored nail at their tip line.

8. Then we will draw a love for the middle and the thumb design.

Start dotting 2 dots like above picture so that you can get the center of the love.

9. Join both the dot by drawing the curve like above.

Repeat for the other side to complete the love.

10. Then simply fill the love with the color you used and you will get to above picture.

11. Stick the mini pearls covering the sides of the love by using top coat as glue.

You can also use Konad Top Coat Pen since it got the tip for you to glue on your desire place.

You can refer here for the tutorial to use top coat as glue.

12. Stick ribbon FIMO right in the middle of the love.

You can also draw a ribbon if you don't have any FIMO.

13. Apply top coat and you're done!

It's 11th November, the Pepero Day!

Also, because its 11.11.11 this year,

it is known as the Millennium Pepero Day!

In Korea,

they celebrate pepero day because 11/11 looked like sticks of pepero.

It's like Korean's Valentine's Day in which Koreans give pepero to the person they love and care.

Pepero is similar to Japan's Pocky and Malaysia's Rocky.

Anyway,

i spent my Pepero Day with exchange students from Germany and Korea

and also MMU students :D

We had a small gathering in which my mom prepared some Malaysian food like Curry Chicken, Chinese version Nasi Pulut, Nasi Goreng, and also steamboat.

I uploaded the photos to facebook and decided to make one animation out of 2 of the photos.

I hope you guys enjoyed the meal and had a nice time!

Simple Pastel Water Marbling Nail Art

Actually saw this kind of effect from friend's facebook picture months ago but did not try it because it looked troublesome.

Eventhough the video looked like its easy to make it,

but in real, it's very hard to control to make sure it does't get messed up.

Also, some nail polish just doesn't work for the water marbling effect.

Not forgetting the cleaning after everything.

I tried to reduce the cleaning process by sticking cellophane tape around my fingers before dipping them into the water, still the cleaning process is killing me.

Anyway, i tried it out just because i was curious and i spent 5hours just to make sure atleast it succeed else my effort would have gone waste.

The process of choosing suitable nail polish also wasted a lot of my time.

You can simply youtube any water marble nail art by typing the keyword "water marble nail art".

1. Apply any base coat of your choice.

2. Prepare a paper cup filled with water

3. Paint your nails with white color nail polish.

(This step is optional, i painted it so that it will looked more obvious with the colors i used)

4. Wrap your fingers with cellophane tape leaving only your nail exposed.

This is to reduce the cleaning process after dipping your hand into the water with layers of nail polish.

5. Choose your favourite colors.

6. Drop one drop into the water and it will form layers like this.

(I used other colors so that i will look more obvious)

These are the colors i used.

It wasnt that visible so i used the above photo to illustrate how it would look like.

7. Turn the cup to your favorable position so that your desirable color will be top or below.

You can also draw patterns before dipping it to form the design on your nail.

It was my first attempt so i'm trying with the simplest basic design.

8. Each time can only do it for one finger so you have to repeat n times for n fingers.

9. Remove the cellophane tape and do some cleaning

10. Apply top coat and you're done. :)

Eventhough it looked like it was no sweat to me,

but during the real situation,

it really made me feel so frustrating because the nail polish kept cant spread out.

I guess i won't try another water marbling effect that soon,

unless i really have too much time to kill.

The main character of this post are these 2 products.

Personally i think both of them are really good,

not in the sense that they really works extremely well or what

(Maybe it did work but i am too SPoke to notice the difference of my appearance for BEFORE & AFTER)

And also this soft textured wash off mask cares your skin soft and glossy

It smelt like some cereal and i guess some people may not like it,

but i kinda like it, maybe im weird. XD

I did not notice any difference of my skin color after the whole process of applying it,

as in does this really makes my skin looked brighter,

but i did notice right after i massage it into my face,

my skin color looked brighter and i love the feeling after washing them off.

It leaves my skin in a soft-touched feeling.

IMHO,

Korea cosmetic and skin care products are best to buy them in Korea or ship from Korea through some agents.

Black & White Lace Gyaru Nail Art

I posted this at my facebook:

"My tolerance for getting bored of my nails are like 1~2days =.=

Shyt its already the 3rd day and i feel like doing new nail T_T

but im too heavy-hearted to get rid of my precious ribbon T_T"

So i came out with this idea of recycling the ribbon.

Luckily i usually just use top coat as the glue so that it is easy to be removed. XD

One looking clean white because i apply pink polka dots after applying top coat,

while the other one before applying top coat =.=

So here comes the real main post.

Ever since i am indulged (or addicted) for doing nail art,

I always save images of pretty nail art design that i saw at the website.

I was inspired by below photo and decided to combine this theme with lace-pearl-gyaru-style.

Pardon my short nails.

Because i trimmed them the week before when it was ridiculously too long for me.

T_T

1. Apply base coat of your preference. I'm using OPI base coat here.

2. Apply your favourite nude color for all fingernails except the middle one, by painting it black.

I'm using OPI Isn't it romantic and Etude House WH706.

3. Apply any french tip guideline sticker of your choice on your thumb, index and pinkie.

I'm using V french tip guideline sticker.

4. Paint the french tip Black color.

5. Paint your ring finger any color that is lighly sparkly.

Im using Missha Crystal HWH011.

Flat Sparkles

Nail Stone

6. Place your nail stone on your nail by using top coat as glue.

7. Place the flat sparkles in between the nail stones.

8. Measure the lace to be placed on your middle finger according your own preference.

Remember to apply the top coat(glue) before you stick the lace

else if you apply the top coat(glue) after you place the lace,

it will look really sticky and clumpy.

9. Place mini silver ball and mini pearl alternately according to above picture.

You may arrange according to your liking.

10. Place the lace on the lower part of your ring fingernail and place pearl in between the nail stones and the lace.

(Actually if you notice in previous photos i placed silver flat sparkles on the ring finger,

i sort of change it to this design coz i tot the previous design was abit too plain and weird. =.=)

11. By using a white nail art pen (or a toothpick dipped with white color nail polish),

draw lines on the black french tip.

You may refer to the inspired from picture above to have a clearer view.

12. Place pearls (or nail stones following the inspired from picture) covering the french tip line.

13. For your thumb design, if you think that its abit too plain,

you can add your own design.

I'm using a bigger pearl and black nail art pen (or using toothpick) to draw the flower design.

14. Apply top coat on the fingernails except the lace part,

because it will make the lace part look sticky,

as mentioned in #8

For my right hand, i did different design for the middle and ring finger.

However, the colors i used are the same.

(Remember to paint the ring finger using sparkly nail polish)

15. Pre-cut a love-shaped lace and stick on the middle finger.

16. Arrange mini gold balls( I regretted, should have use silver ones) covering the sides of the lace.

17. Pre-cut a small slanted rectangular lace and stick on the ring finger.

18. Place the pearls and nail stones alternately covering the sides of the lace.

19. Apply top coat for the designs except the lace part.

but also your family and friends.

I love to prepare presents or handmade something for people that i cared.

Won't you feel happy receiving something people made while thinking about you?

When i am making or preparing something for someone,

i will definitely think about that person,

thinking whether will she/he likes it,

whether she/he feels happy receiving it.

Even a simple memo or note,

full with love and feeling,

is enough to move someone's heart.

(unless that person is stone-hearted =.=)

Because i believe any hypocrisy won't be able to make someone make or do something for the other person,

eventhough they are able to put up a fake face showing how hypocrite they are,

while backstabing you.

So my brother bought this coupon for 50% d/c for Japanese dining @ Sakura Sakura.

The food is okay, and of course better than those commercialized sushi from sakae sushi and sushi zanmai.

My siblings told me that Rakuzen tasted better but i have yet to try Rakuzen's T_T

So i removed the previous nail art on my fingers

because i thought it was really messy because of the pattern

T_T

So i tried to do a simple design,

ended up its not that simple as it was seen.

Because the process of placing the shiny little piece is soooooooo HARD and TIRING!

OMG =.=

1. Apply your favourite base coat.

2. Apply a sheer nude nail polish on each fingernails.

3. Stick the french tip sticker right in the middle of the nails.

4. Apply pink and nude peach nail color following your own preference

5. Remove the stickers and it will look like this.

6. Apply the little shiny pieces by using top coat as the glue.

(Need extra concentration and patience here)

7. Finally stick on any of your favourite nail deco on your preferred fingernail.

(I just stick the ribbon for the thumb and love for the ring finger)

8. Apply your top coat and its done!

(Before that i apply polka dots on the ribbon using the color i'm holding here)

Colorful Floral Nail Art

Actually this was a failed messed up nail art,

but i decided to post it up because i don't want my effort to gone wasted

LOL T-T

1. Apply base coat

2. Apply french tip sticker covering the moon of your nail

3. Apply white nail polish on your preferred nail.

4. Apply your favourite color on the remaining finger nails, one fully polished and another just the french tip.

5. Start drawing your flower by drawing the flower from inside to outside.

6. Dot on the middle of the flower.

7. Dot on the white space.

8. Apply Silver Grey Nail Pen brush to cover the moon line and the french tip and also do polka dot on the fully polished nail.

9. Place the nail stone on your favourite nail spot.

10. Apply your favourite top coat!

I am the type that enjoy cooking but dislike to clean up the dishes after the cooking.

Because i simply love making something but hates troublesome cleaning.

My 1st Konad Stamping Nail Art : Swirling French Tip Nail Art

Recently i've been spending a lot for nail art stuffs,

after the order from Nail Princess Gallery,

I ordered a Konad Stamping Nail Art Special Set at their website,

another 4 image plates and a regular nail polish.

I also ordered 2 OPI and 1 China Glaze from Nail Fiesta,

as well as pre-ordered OPI PotC mini set and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat from Naildiction.

Sigh, i should really stop spending so much =.=

I got my Konad yesterday but decided to try it today because i was too tired after went out whole day yesterday.

I got my Nail Fiesta stuff today so i can use my new OPI nail lacquer too!

I plan to do an update post on my nail art stuffs after i got my parcel from Naildiction in November,

so don't expect I will talk much about Konad.

Please wait for my update post for nail art tools which includes review for Konad! :D

So start by applying base coat.

I'm using Innisfree's base coat here.

Apply your favourite nail color.

I'm using OPI Isn't it Romantic to achieve the sheer natural nail color.

Take out your favourite Konad Special Nail Polish and image plate.

I'm using Black Pearl Special Nail Polish & image plate M56 here.

Using the swirling pattern. :D

It's not really perfect because i wasn't familiar with using Konad.

I guess it will be better as time goes by.

Practice makes perfect!

Finally, apply your favourite top coat and that's it!

I can't believe it's already Saturday,

Time really flies.

I still remember it was only end of February when i left for Korea,

and 6 months passed by so fast that I was back in Malaysia in August again.

Then leaving one month plus holiday for me to rot at home,

and finally now,

2days before semester 2 starts

Did nothing much during this holiday,

eventhough kept telling myself to start doing some of the FYP

but still ending up not touching them

(yea who the hell will waste their holiday to do coursework stuff =3=)

Luckily, i did not take a lot subjects hence my time table is quite loose,

but then MMU is so freaking smart ass to arrange my subject's lectures to be at separate days

making me have to go to campus almost everyday just for a 2hours class or so,

MEH.

Gyaru Nail Art (ﾟ▽ﾟ*)

So after i got my new nail art tools and deco,

I decided to do some nail art using pearls and nail stones

♥‿♥

Start with applying base coat and your choice of color.

For me, I choose purplish pink with some shine.

By using any tool your have,

be it dotting tool, toothpick or nail art pen,

do polka dots design on your nails.

Then decorate using one big pearl covering the lowest dot,

and use the nail stones to do a moon design.

Do a french tip for the other two fingers.

For your thumb,

use a big pearl and place it on the middle,

decorate the sideways by using a micro metal ball.

Then place a ribbon FIMO on the french tip nails,

followerd by micro metal ball covering the french tip line.

The final look will be like this :D

p/s: I got lazy for the right hand, so i skip the metalballs for the french tip :p

I've been doing nail art since a while,

I think i officially started to do nail art right after i went to Korea.

It's because the nail polishes in Korea is so freaking cheap and that i kept buying them,

making me feel like painting prettier design :D

I still remember i used to use my mom's nail polishes to paint my nail when i'm in elementary school.

I guess since then i've always like to paint my nails XD

I bought a lot of nail art stuffs from Korea and i have around 30+ nail polishes.

Actually i've already threw away some of my old nail polishes bought before i went to Korea,

because they've already harden or become too sticky T3T

It's really easy to use and the one i wanted the most is the Konad Stamping Nail Art Special Set.

It's suitable for me because im non-pro but it has sufficient designs!

Maybe i should also get more nail colors and acrylic paint for nail arts.

Purposely removed all my nail art because i thought the nail art tools will be arriving today,

So i did a simple one but look cute enough :3

Color your nails with cute pastel colors!

I think The Face Shop nail polishes are really smooth compared to The Etude House.

Then, by using a white pen brush,

I draw the white stripes slowly.

For the thumbs, i drew 4 lines.

While the others, i started of by drawing the middle one first,

and add another one by both side of the middle one.

Apply Top Coat for glossy finish!

Hopefully my nail art tools will arrive tomorrow :(

Came across this super talented girl, Hwanniee when i was youtubing.

I love her nail arts and she's also inspired by Japanese Gyaru Nail Art.

So i decided to pick her Vintage Lace Floral Nail to decorate my boring nails

before heading out to celebrate my birthday with my friends! :D

Then, apply your choice of colors.

I decided to follow her choice of color for floral nail

except the pink color for lace nail art,

in which she did not apply such pink color.

Because my nail is shorter compared to hers,

Sometimes i wonder why somebody can be so dishonest.

Seriously, if you're still a kid or you have yet to taken up any education on morality,

I can sort of understand.

Because i understand how greed and lust can affect our rational,

but still if even you've gone through the education,

and yet you are still doing it,

then what's the meaning of receiving the education? =.=

Something that did not belong to you,

even if you take it without anyone knowing it,

won't you feel guilty about it?

I mean at least for me,

if its not mine,

i will feel guilty keeping it.

I will either pass it to some authorized personnel or simply just leave it there,

cause i believed the owner will surely go back and find it.

My bro said i live in a perfect world because i don't understand some people may have difficult situation.

That's why they did it the wrong way.

But seriously,

there are some people who are struggling with their hard life too,

yet they are still being honest.

I understand everyone have different situation and may be desperate for living a better life,

but if to live is to betray the morality,

then you might as well don't exist.

If you want to live,

live proudly with your unstained dignity,

not as a coward who goes around doing immoral stuffs.

Sometimes,

these people are just self-centered bastard that think only about themselves.

When they go around doing these uncivilized acts,

they just think of their own benefits without thinking of their victims.

Stop finding up excuse because if there's a will, there's a way.

As long as you work hard,

you will surely be able to overcome the difficulties,

without having to tarnish your honor.

My actual birthday is on 9th October but i decided to push forward to 26th September because everyone's schedule is different.

It wasn't easy trying to host a birthday party,

and talk about the actual hosting?

My mom did all of it T3T~
