My Nail Art Tools II ヾ(o・ω・)ノ (Updated with Konad Review) ★Alert! Picture Heavy!★

First of all,
i wanted to say thank you to Angel (visit her blogshop @ My Lawgical
because she help me found a seller who is selling the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I first noticed about this product is when Amy Xia, a youtuber who is active in making nail art,
mentioned about it. :D

And today is exactly one month after that day.
XD

and i finally received the letter and little gift parcel from 지혜언니, my Korean friend from CNU.
She passed this to her korean friend who came visit us in end of August,
and then he forgot about this parcel in one of our friend's house,
so it was at my friend's house until i finally met her this morning XD
Thanks 언니 for preparing these little gifts for me!
I love the orange nail polish because i don't have a lighter shade of orange.
I only have a kind of neon orange from Etude house ≧ω≦

Also, I've just received my parcel from Naildiction today.
I placed my order on 15th October for the 31st October spree,
and i received them 2weeks after the closing of spree.
I love how she wrapped everything carefully with bubblewrap and also alot of plastic wrap.
:D

So these are my updated nail art stuff.
The nail polishes and Konad Stamping Nail Art Special Set.

OR201 from The Face Shop

I got it for only RM28 from Naildiction compared to RM33 from NailFiesta
To read more about it, please check this review out.
It's like the top best of the top coat brand because it dries really fast.

OPI Pirates of the Caribbean Mini Sets RM40 from Naildiction

From left:
Skull &Glossbones
Planks a Lot
Sparrow Me the Drama
Stranger Tides

The normal size(15ml) vs mini size(3.75ml)
Super cute!!!
≧▽≦

I got these 3 from NailFiesta on 20th October.
I love their service because it's really fast and efficient!
I got them within 4days after my order.
From left,
OPI Isn't It Romantic NL H35 | RM21 instead of RM33 from clearance sale
China Glaze Snow 25176 | RM18 instead of RM25 from clearance sale
OPI Kyoto Pearl  NL L03 | RM21 instead of RM33 from clearance sale

I bought this nail polish remover from Watson for RM9.90 just because i wanted its bottle.
Hahahahaha.

It also comes with a product catalogue/manual and also instruction movie.

The catalogue showing how do you use it and also the other products available.

The image plates design.

Nail polishes color and others.

It comes with:
5 special Nail Polishes of 11ml each : White, Pink Pearl, Red, Green, and Black Pearl.
1 Top Coat.
Rhinestones of 30pcs : Random with Blue,Pink, and White.
1 Image Plate Holder.
1 Stamp.
1 Scraper.
5 Image Plates : M3,M36,M44,M55,M57.

Inside the little pink box are the scraper, ip holder and 5ips.
I bought extra 4 ips because i wanted the french tip ones.

The rhinestones are also inside the pink box but because i've sorted them into my nail art boxes,
so i couldn't take a picture of them.

M55,M36,M44,M57,M3 from the Special Set

M19,M80,S10,M56
I bought each for RM13 from the Konad Website

I found cheaper ones from NailFiesta in which the ips are only RM7.9 each.
There are Konad ip-alike design and also other design.
They are also selling the special nail polish(for stamping nail art) for only RM5.9 instead of Konad's smallest size(5ml) which are already RM12.

I sort of regretted to buy the Special Set for RM200 when i could get much more stuff for only RM199(ori price RM244) from the Nail Stamping Set 1 from NailFiesta.
The set comes with:
20ips of your choice instead of Konad's 5 standard ips.
10 special nail polish instead of Konad's 5 special nail polish
1 stamper and 1 scrapper
3 FIMO Nail Art(Assorted,Flowers,Fruits)
It doesn't have Konad's 30pcs Rhinestones, ip holder, top coat, catalogue and instruction movie cd.

Konad Stamping Nail Art Tutorial

Personally, i think Konad Stamping Nail Art is very convenient for people who wanted to decorate their nail nicely without having to visit the nail salon.
You may get frustrated in the beginning because you couldn't make it perfectly but it's easy to use after few practices.
There are also other brand of stamping nail art that i've came across but i just couldn't remember their names.

You can watch this video for better understanding about Konad Stamping Nail Art.
You can also refer here for the tutorial.

1. Apply base coat.

2. Prepare special nail polish of your choice and also place the ip on the ip holder.

I placed the tissue paper beside the ip so that when i scrap it, it won't make the ip holder dirty,
and i can avoid a lot more mess of cleaning it.
You can clean the special nail polish stain with the nail polish remover.

Also, please keep in mind that normal nail polish is hard to work on the ip because it wasn't designated to use with the ip.
Only special nail polish can make perfect stamping because it dries faster compared to normal nail polish.

3. Apply the special nail polish onto the design you like.

You may color only part of it or use multiple color on one pattern to achieve your own unique design.

4. Scrap the special nail polish at 45degree right after you color the pattern.

Everything have to be done quickly because the special nail polish dries fast.

Ignore any stain that is on the ip because the stamper wont get the stain, but only the design you made.

5. Stamp the pattern you've made by rotating it onto the stamper.

See how the stain wont get onto the stamp?

You can also use any cotton bud to remove unwanted design on the stamper to create your own design.
However, please remember everything have to be done fast to avoid the special nail polish dries off.

I made it into a love shape but actually i wont stamp it onto my nail. Hahahaha
I just wanted to show you guys how it can really make into different design.

6. Stamp the design onto your nail.

It can get dirty on your finger but fret not,
because you can easily clean them using cotton bud dipped with nail polish remover.
To make things easier,
you can also use Konad's Corrector Pen.

7. Finally, apply the top coat.

It's not necessary to only use Konad's top coat.
You can use other other brand such as OPI, Seche Vite or other.

Hope you enjoy this tutorial!
